Stoicani village of Soroca district has an emergency medical assistance point that will provide first aid to about 7,300 people from seven settlements of the region. The point was inaugurated on October 5. Its team consists of four doctor’s assistants, four nurses and four drivers, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, the point includes a unit of transport that is outfitted with all the medical devices needed to provide emergency medical assistance and to stabilize and maintain the vital functions of patients in critical states while they are taken to the hospital.
The point is housed by the local mayor’s office, but a separate building will be erected by the end of 2017.
