In the course of this month, the National Citizenship Authority (NCA) in Bucharest will supplement the number of ceremonies for taking an oath of allegiance to Romania allocated to the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau and the two consular offices in Bălți and Cahul. In July, the Authority will organize two more such ceremonies allocated for the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau and the two Consular Sections in Bălți and Cahul, the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau has said, being quoted by IPN.
An oath can be taken at the NCA head office if the persons asked for Romanian nationality by maintaining the domicile abroad and later decided to change the domicile in Romania and also by persons who want to maintain the domicile abroad, but want to take an oath in Bucharest.
The aforementioned persons should first schedule an appointment through www.econsulat.ro based on an online application transmitted for pre-validation with the option of taking an oath of allegiance at the NCA head office in Bucharest. The online applications to take an oath will be programmed by the Consular Section by respecting the chronological order of the transmission date and the available places. The date and hour of the appointment will be transmitted automatically by the system to the e-mail address used to create the account on www.econsulat.ro.
After obtaining the consent of the head of the diplomatic mission, the scheduled persons must go to the NCA head office in Bucharest with this consent, the passport and two passport-type 35X45 mm photos and also with declarations by which the applicants asks for the domicile to be registered in Romania.
The ceremonies will be held at the NCA head office at Sector 3, 25 Blănari St in Bucharest. The conditions of entering Romania are available on https://chisinau.mae.ro/local-news/1998.
