The Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Moldova said that as in the case of the presidential elections of November 2020, the Moldovan voters residing in the Italian Republic will be able to exercise their right to vote according to the current regulations, even in the context of the epidemiological situation, by abiding by the basic rules of democracy and the rule of law, IPN reports.

President Maia Sandu announced the signing of the decree to dissolve Parliament in the evening of April 28 in the wake of the Constitutional Court’s ruling that the legislature’s decision to declare a state of emergency was unconstitutional and the current legislative body could be thus dissolved.
