The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany provides details over a news article published by IPN News Agency on October 3.

“IPN Agency reported that on October 3 the Ambassador of Germany gave an interview to “Teleradio-Moldova” Company on the occasion of the German Unity Day of this year. The Embassy specifies that this is not true as the ambassador gave no interview,” it is said in a message sent to IPN.

For its part, IPN notes that the news item was written based on an interview broadcast by Radio Moldova on October 3, 2015, but neglected the fact that the interview was produced on the occasion of the German National Unity Day of a year ago and regrets any inconvenience it may have caused.
