Elegance and refinement at National Opera House

Giuseppe Verdi’s famous opera Nabucco will be performed at the National Opera House under the direction of the exceptional Vienna conductor Friedrich Pfeiffer, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources from the institution. Nabucco follows the plight of the Jews as they are assaulted, conquered, and subsequently exiled from their homeland by the Babylonian King Nabucco. The historical events are used as background for a romantic and political plot. The public will be able to listen to such well-known Moldovan singers as baritone Boris Materinco, who will play the part of Nabucco, bass Vitalie Cires – Zaccaria, mezzo-soprano Anastasia Tverdohlib – Fenena, soprano Rodica Picireanu – Anna, and others. The performance will take place on March 26, starting at 6pm.
