Electronic laboratory for distance education will be set up at State University

Hewlett-Packard (HP) software company will provide a $30,000 grant to the State University of Moldova (USM). The money is offered as part of the pilot Supporting Innovation in Education Project launched by HP EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Info-Prim Neo reports. At a news conference on October 23, representatives of the company said that USM will benefit from support to develop an electronic laboratory (eLaboratory) for distance learning at the institution. The project will be then extended to other educational institutions and different areas of activity. Hewlett-Packard is a technology company that operates in more than 170 countries around the world.
