The price of electric power supplied by Gas Natural Fenosa will rise by 3.6% on average as of April 1, while the price of a gigacalorie of heat by 0.54 lei as of May 1. The National Agency for Energy Regulation approved the given decisions in a meeting on March 17, IPN reports.
The Agency’s press officer Galina Sanduta has told IPN that domestic end-users connected to low voltage power lines from April 1 will pay 1.99 lei per kWh for the electricity supplied by Gas Natural Fenosa, by 0.07 lei more than now.
The end-users connected to average voltage lines will pay a tariff of 2.82 lei, up 0.11 lei, while those connected to high voltage lines 1.53 lei, an increase of 0.08 lei.
The rises are lower than the ones asked by Gas Natural Fenosa, which requested that the tariffs should be raised to 1.66 lei, 1.71 lei and 2.26 lei per kWh respectively.
In the same meeting, at the request of S.A. “Termoelectrica”, the Agency increased the price of a gigacalorie of heat from 1,068 lei to 1,122 lei. The company asked for a tariff of 1,132 lei. The decision will take effect on May 1 this year.
