Electors do not want second round of voting in Chisinau

Many of the voters who cast their ballots at polling places No. 131 and No. 132 located on Drumul Viilor St in Chisinau told Info-Prim Neo that they do not want a second round of voting. They said they are tired of the political instability in the country and large sums of money will be spent in the second round, which should better be donated to children’s homes, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Many voters said they are disappointed by the politicians, but still hope that after the elections things will improve, better living conditions and possibilities of growth for the young people will be created.
A female pensioner who refused to tell her name said she voted for a professional who will be a good manger. Another woman said she voted for a better life with a sincere and responsible mayor.
Some of the voters said the candidates for mayor of Chisinau and for councilors are more competent compared with other elections. Others said there are many candidates, but only two of them deserve being mayors of Chisinau.
As many as 661 voters of the 1,739 written in the list cast their votes at polling station No. 131 by 14.30. A number of 1,618 voters are expected at polling place No. 132. 298 of them voted until 14.30.
