A group of about 20 persons who ran for local councilors in Topala village of Cimislia district vandalized the local electoral bureau. Press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Tamara Procopii has told IPN that these destroyed the furniture and computers. It’s not yet known if the ballot boxes were damaged.

Those involved in this case are being investigated. They explained that one of the candidates mobilized a group of young people to bring voters to the polling place in an organized way to vote for him. This was the reason why they got into a fight.

The police also reported such minor incidents as campaigning or complaints about the absence of the name from the voter rolls according to the domicile.
