The Parliament Friday adopted the decision to decrease the election threshold from 6% la 5% by the vote of 58 Communist MPs, Info-Prim Neo reports. The decision was made in the absence of Speaker of Parliament and leader of the Communist Party Vladimir Voronin, who left the sitting during the break. The Opposition did not take part in the vote. By the vote of the same 58 Communist MPs, the voter turnout for validating the elections was reduced from 1/2 to 1/3.
