The calmness by which the current election campaign is characterized is apparent and represents only quietness before a storm, said invitees to the program “Politics” produced by TV7 channel, IPN reports.

Political analyst Oazu Nantoi said that this campaign lacks aggressiveness, while those engaged in the electoral race lack inspiration. “It seems that this election campaign is intended only for those who are undecided and do not know what world they live in. The positive side is that the people can reflect calmly who to vote for. The question is whether the PLDM will be able to achieve the same result as in 2010, while the PDM and PL to go out of the hole in which they are now. Polls show they will get a poor score. But the situation of the other parties is as difficult,” he stated.

Political analyst Alexei Tulbure believes that something is happening inside the parties. “The last month of the campaign will bring us great surprises. Things in our country change every week. So, this calmness is only apparent,” he said.

According to him, the intrigue is who will form the future government. “If the current composition is kept, no reforms will follow. The state institutions will be destroyed and the state property will be appropriated. I don’t think this is the most appropriate variant. But the variant of a coalition with the PCRM will not be appropriate either. We lost the opposition in all these struggles,” stated Tulbure.

Political analyst Anatol Taranu considers the second half of the current election campaign will not be as calm as the first half as the trump cards will be used on the last 100 meters.
