A 76-year-old woman was killed in one of the three fires recorded on September 23 in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Civil Protection Service. The fire broke out at around 21:00 and ripped through a room of the woman's house, located in Chisinau's suburban town of Codru. After putting out the blaze, the crew found in the house the woman's body. Experts are investigating the case to establish the cause of the fire. From the beginning of this year, 131 persons, including 9 children, were killed in 1,561 fires that erupted across Moldova. 114 motor vehicles were damaged.
