The pensioners will be able to receive the compensation for heat of 130 lei together with the pension, at the post office, said Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga. “Nobody will have to submit confirmatory documents and there will be no queues at the social assistance divisions. We will present the lists of recipients. We have an information system that includes all the beneficiaries,” Valentina Buliga said. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Deputy Minister of Labor Vadim Pistrinciuc said the pensioners and socially deprived families will receive compensations from October, while the budget-funded employees – after January 1, 2011. “We plan to provide a new type of compensations during the cold period of the year, depending on the money earned by every member of the family. It will cover a larger number of people. We will announce the procedure beforehand and will train the personnel involved,” Vadim Pistrinciuc said. As many as 500,000 persons with a pension of under 900 lei, 30,000 underprivileged families and budget-funded employees on salaries lower than 700 lei will receive compensations for heat during the cold period of the year.
