The Chisinau City Hall published the list of underground pedestrian passages that will be repaired this spring. The Institute “Chisinau-Proiect” is carrying out designing works to determine the volume of works for each passage and their cost, IPN reports.

Eight passages will start to be repaired in March. Four of them are located on Dacia Blvd: near the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1, at the intersection with Teilor St, at the intersection with Traian Blvd and near the Airport quarter. Two passages are situated on Soseaua Hancesti St: near the Ministry of Defense and near the South Bus Terminal. In the center of Chisinau, there will be repaired the passage at 10/1 Negruzzi Blvd and the one at 3/1 Stefan cel Mare Blvd, at the intersection with Ciuflea St.

In the municipality of Chisinau, there are 20 underground pedestrian passages. Twelve underground passages were transferred under the management of economic entities. In 2014, the Chisinau Municipal Council leased out 11 underground pedestrian passages for a period of ten years. One of the leases expired.
