Eight persons needed emergency medical assistance in central square on Language Day

Eight persons celebrating the Romanian Language Day in the Great National Assembly Square sought help from the two ambulance teams working in the square. Coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that three of the eight persons were children. The cases included angina, dystonia, leg wound, foreign object in the eye and a hysteria case. None of the eight persons was hospitalized. They were given first aid on the spot. A woman aged 60 was found dead on August 31. She came to visit her relatives in Chisinau. When the hosts wanted to wake her up, she was dead. The cause of death is yet to be established. A 33-year-old man suffering from mental disorder threw himself into a well about 20 meters in depth in Bubuieci village of Chisinau municipality. The man from Soldanesti worked on a building site in Chisinau. The cause of the suicide is not yet known. An investigation is underway. A man aged 28 asked for medical assistance after he was attacked on Docuceaev St. He said he was stabbed in the thoracic region by a car driver. The police are investigating the case. Yesterday and last night, the ambulance doctors dealt with 686 calls, including 91 cases of acute viral infections, 83 cases of trauma, three myocardial infarctions and three brain strokes.
