Eight pedestrians harmed in Chisinau road accidents
Eight pedestrians were injured in traffic accidents in Chisinau on Tuesday. All of them survived.
According to the General Police Commissariat, a 47-year-old woman from Cotiujenii-Mari village of Soldanesti district was struck by a Mercedes on M. Kogalniceanu St. At the intersection of Kiev and Tudor Vladimirescu streets, a BMW hit a pedetsrians aged 38. A Mercedes minibus running on rote No. 166 struck a 37-year-old woman from Goianul Nou village at the intersection Kiev and Aleco Russo streets. A woman aged 49 was hit by a Mercedes on Bucuresti St. A Volkswagen-Golf struck a 75-year-old woman from Braila village on Albisoara St, while a route No.129 Mercedes minibus hit a woman aged 23 on Aleco Russo St.
A car crashed into the curb on Muncesti street. Two occupants of the car from Taslac village of Grigoriopol district suffered concussion and contusion of the thoraxes, while one of them also contusion of the backbone, doctors from the Emergency Service told Info-Prim Neo. The two were under the influence. None of them admitted to driving the car.
Eight persons suffered different bodily injures in car accidents in the municipality of Chisinau on Tuesday and on Wednesday night.
