Eight more trolleybuses made in Belarus to be assembled in Chisinau

Eight latest generation classical trolleybuses purchased from the Minsk factory were delivered to Chisinau for being assembled at the repair workshop of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company. The vehicles are outfitted with air conditioning systems, surveillance cameras inside and USB sockets for passengers. The units of transport have LED-based optical systems, electrically controlled mirrors and ramps of access for persons with special needs, IPN reports.

According to the Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban, ten Skoda trolleybuses bought from Riga are now being subject to technical overhaul and will be then put on routes in the capital city.

Five new articulated trolleybuses purchased from Belarus, five secondhand articulated trolleybuses bought from Riga and ten used classical trolleybuses started recently to run on routes in Chisinau. Twenty-two new classical trolleybuses are yet to be delivered from Belarus until March.
