Eight gaming halls were closed following searches carried out within a criminal case started by the Chisinau Prosecutor’s Office over tax evasion, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was established that the given companies in 2015-2016 included false data about their revenues and costs in the accounting, fiscal and financial documents. As a result, taxable objects used in gaming activity were hidden, while the earned money was not indicated in the financial accounts.
The gaming halls were closed for being subject to examinations by metrology specialists and employees of the State Main Tax Inspectorate.
