Eight persons applied to fill the vacancy for member of the Teleradio-Moldova Company’s Supervisory Board (SB), chairman of the Broadcasting Coordination Council Corneliu Mihalache told Info-Prim Neo. In his words, the BCC members will have to organise an internal meeting, within which they will select the candidates on the basis of their resumes. Subsequently, the selected persons will be invited to a public session, which will most probably take place on Thursday, July 12, and within which two candidates will be selected and their files will be sent to the Parliament for approval, Mihalache said. The position of SB member became vacant after Victoria Musteata resigned. The present composition of the coordinating body of the public company “Teleradio-Moldova”, consisting of 9 members was appointed by the Parliament on December 28, 2006.
