Eight charter flights to repatriate Moldovans to be operated next week

As many as 1,440 Moldovan citizens who were put on waiting lists of embassies and consulates will be repatriated by eight charter flights. Priority will be given to students, persons receiving medical treatment and citizens in difficulty, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

According to the agreed timetable, the following charter flights will be operated during April 27-May 3:

April 27 – Milan-Chisinau, 08:50am takeoff (MXP), 11:.20am landing (KIV);
April 28 – Paris-Chisinau, 09:25am takeoff (BVA), 12:35pm landing (KIV);
April 29 – Istanbul-Chisinau, 07:40am takeoff  (IST), 09.20am landing (KIV);
April 29 – Larnaca-Athens-Chisinau, 01.10pm takeoff (LCA), 03.15pm landing (ATH), 03:45pm takeoff (ATH), 05:45 landing (KIV);
April 30 – Moscow-Chisinau, 07:50am takeoff (VKO), 09:55am landing (KIV);
May 1 – Dublin-Chisinau, 09:50am takeoff (DUB), 01:30pm landing (KIV);
May 2 – Roma-Chisinau, 08:35am takeoff (FKO), 11:05am landing (KIV);
May 3 – London-Chisinau, 09:35am takeoff (LTN), 12:55pm landing (KIV).

The Ministry calls on the citizens to inform themselves about the charter flights that will repatriate Moldovans from official sources, especially the websites of the Civil Aviation Authority (www.caa.md), the Government (www.gov.md) and Moldova’s Embassy or Consulate General in the country of residence.
