The mother of the young man who is suspected of raping a three-year-old girl was discharged from the post of educator of the Chisinau kindergarten No. 23, where the incident took place. An order was also made to dismiss the kindergarten's head who is now on sick leave, the head of the Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda Tverdohleb said in Monday's meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, Info-Prim Neo reports. The educator was fired because she was absent from work without leave for half an hour, period during which the rape reportedly happened. Tatiana Tverdohleb said she made an ordinance, banning access to the Chisinau kindergartens and schools during working hours, including for parents. It is also proposed employing porters. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca instructed Tatiana Tverdohleb to verify if the kindergarten's head is indeed sick and punish the doctor who issued the certificate if she is not. He said the head might be trying to avoid bearing responsibility for the incident by this sick leave. The three-year-old girl was raped during a sleep hour. The suspect is under arrest.
