The educational process was suspended in 22 districts of the country for one-two days. The local authorities of each locality will decide whether to resume the process on January 9 or not, depending on the evolution of weather conditions, IPN reports.
The Government said that in Chisinau and Balti municipalities, as well as in Anenii Noi, Orhei, Taraclia, Glodeni, Straseni, Telenesti districts, students will return to classrooms on January 11.
In the districts of Cantemir, Calarasi, Causeni, Cimislia, Criuleni, Dubasari, Falesti, Floresti, Ialoveni, Leova, Nisporeni, Rezina, Ungheni, Singerei, Soldanesti, Stefan Voda, the vacation will end on January 9 and students will return to school on January 10.
In some of the districts, schools will resume the educational process on Tuesday, January 9. These are Basarabeasca, Briceni, Cahul, Donduseni, Drochia, Edinet, Hancesti, Ocnita, Rascani, Soroca and ATU Gagauzia. Approximately 600 students from these localities, who travel by school transport, will study remotely.
The decision to suspend the educational process was taken due to the severe weather conditions.
