The educational process during the Easter vacation will be continued, but without homework. In a press briefing, Minister of Excitation Igor Sharov said they took into account the multiple requests of parents and teachers not to interrupt the educational process given the previous pauses and the restrictions imposed by the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports.
“We need teaching continuity and continuous training so as to maintain permanent contact between the student and teacher. This way, we will not have to work harder to assimilate and teach the overdue content later. We do not want to continue the school year into the summer vacation. We do not want the overdue classes to be taught on Saturdays. We intend to obey the daily program of five hours,” said the minister.
Igor Sharov voiced hope that each teacher identified a suitable working method with the students. He called on the teachers not to give too much homework to students, noting he will request that the education system employees should be paid the salaries in full.
