The Education Ministry will transfer 15 buses that will convey children to school under the administration of the local public authorities, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Education Leonid Bujor said the local administrations submitted 130 applications for being distributed buses. There were selected the settlements where the situation is more difficult and the children have to cover 3-5 km and more up to the school. The ten buses that were earlier purchased with support from the World Bank were distributed to villages in Causeni and Rascani districts. A number of 35 school buses will be bought next year. A new agreement to this effect was signed with the World Bank, which will provide US$2 million. Another 12 million lei will be earmarked from the state budget.
