Education Ministry changes procedure of replacing Transnistrian education certificates

The Moldovan Ministry of Education has approved amendments to the procedure of replacing education certificates issued by institutions in the eastern districts of Moldova and Bender town. The major change is that the original will further be kept by the holder, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the Government. As the certificates issued by educational institutions in the Transnistrian region are not recognized internationally, when their holders decide to pursue studies abroad, those certificates can be replaced in Chisinau with documents approved by the Ministry of Education of Moldova. Under the new procedure, the original certificates will not be withdrawn as before, but will be further kept by their holders so that they can have the proof of the institutions that issued them. The Government stressed in its press release that the Moldovan authorities have always supported the aspirations of graduates from Transnistrian institutions to further pursue education and obtain employment in Moldova.
