Minister of Education Maia Sandu made an order providing that the school buses must be used exclusively for carrying students to school and back. The order was issued after the media reported that the given buses are used in cultural and social events, IPN reports.

Maia Sandu instructed the heads of district and municipal education, youth and sport divisions not to use the school buses for other purposes than educational ones.

The division heads will have to regularly monitor the issuing of travelling warrants and fuel consumption.
