The general education institutions from 12 districts will be distributed 150 computers to the value of over US$ 125,000 in accordance with a decision approved by the Government, IPN.

A number of 29 computers will go to schools in Ialoveni district, 19 to schools in Taraclia district and by 18 to education institutions in Călărași and Fălești districts. Schools in the districts of Căușeni, Edineți, Florești, Hâncești, Soroca, Strășeni, Ștefan Vodă, and Telenești will also get computers.

The computers were donated to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in 2018 by the Republic of Korea following the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the ICT sector between the Ministry and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education.
