Education Center to be founded at Oncology Institute
An Eduction Center will be set up at the Chisinau-based Oncology Institute where professors and psychologists could attend courses in providing medical assistance to hospitalized children.
The center will be opened within the Hope for the Children of Moldova Project that is financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency and UNESCO. The assistance amounts to 2 million lei, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the NGO Hope '87, which is implementing the project.
The Moldovan specialists will learn from the experience of different Austrian institutions, including the Vienna-based St Anna Children's Hospital.
Hope '87 is an Austrian initiative cooperating closely with the Austrian Federal Chancellery and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs regarding the support of youth employment projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America as well as in Central and Eastern Europe.
