Editorial staff gives explanations on publication’s content a month after Tuesday’s issue of “Official Gazette” was launched
The subscribers to “The Official Monitor of Moldova” regret that they were misled by the announcement of the editorial staff, which said that after the launch of the Tuesday’s issue of “The Monitor”, they would be provided with an operative and growing volume of legislative and normative acts. A month after the publication of the first Tuesday’s issue, editor-in-chief of the Gazette gives details to Info-Prim Neo about the content of the publication.
Simion Ropot says that the announcement was misunderstood by those who say there are no normative and legislative acts in the Tuesday’s issue. According to the cited source, the promises of the editorial staff referred to the Friday’s issue.
“The Official Monitor of Moldova includes 5 integrated parts. The decision to publish separately chapter 4 and 5 in the Tuesday’s issue, which includes the publication of economic entities and notifications to the lost acts, has left much free space in the Friday’s issue for the laws, decisions and other normative acts of the Government”, Ropot specified.
According to the cited source, the Tuesday’s issue is at the same time an attempt to offer a lower cost product to those who make announcements in the Gazette.
The edior-in-chief announced that in the Tuesday’s issue full laws updated by the Ministry of Justice will be periodically republished. “It is the decision of the subscribers whether they need or not the Tuesday’s issue. All the new legislative and normative acts, as well as the operated amendments will be published in the Friday’s issue”, Ropot announced.
“Starting July 2007, “The Official Monitor of Moldova” is printed twice a week: besides the traditional Friday’s issue, the editorial staff will offer for the first time to the subscribers the Tuesday’s issue. In this way we will be able to respond to the more and more insistent requests of the readers to publish operative and larger volume of normative and legislative acts”, the editorial staff of the Gazette says in its announcement.
The retail price of “The Official Monitor of Moldova” is MDL 15 for the Tuesday’s issue and MDL 35 for the Friday’s issue. A monthly subscription to the Tuesday’s issue costs about MDL 50.
