Edinet municipality has become the Youth Capital for 2025. The budget allocated by the Ministry of Education and Research for this program is 3 million lei, IPN reports.

The national project "Youth Capital" aims to encourage young people to participate in community activities through various cultural and educational events.

"This program is an opportunity to contribute to the development of a dynamic city oriented to the needs of the young generation," underlines the Secretary of State for Sport and Youth, Sergiu Gurin.

The program was first launched in 2011. Last year the "Youth Capital" was the city of Cahul.
