Edelweiss Foundation makes donation to disabled children

The Edelweiss Foundation donated domestic appliances to the Moldovan Association for Persons with Mental Disabilities “Humanitas”. The donation, which includes a fridge and a TV set, was made by representatives of the Foundation during a visit paid to the institution together with Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Foundation's Public Relations Department. The guests inquired about the process of training the volunteers of “Humanitas” Association. “We aim to create good living conditions for the children with disabilities. We thank the Foundation and the Labor Ministry for their support,” said the Association's head Aurelia Racu. According to Valentina Buliga, by its projects “Humanitas” helps the families with disabled children and creates decent conditions for them. The Association for Persons with Mental Disabilities “Humanitas was founded by Government Decision in 1991. It includes specialists and parents with mentally disabled children and promotes the rights of these persons by joining the efforts of all those responsible and interested.
