Economy ministry to take steps to demonopolize ferrous metals market
Prime Minister Vlad Filat had a meeting with Balti businessmen who informed him about the problems they face in sugar production, ferrous metals, wine production and other areas, the Government's press service informs, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The businessmen inquired about the possibilities of eliminating the monopoly on the ferrous metals market. Filat said the Ministry of Economy received the necessary instructions and is working on the demonopolization of this segment.
The businessmen also complained that the companies making ethyl alcohol and alcoholic products have debts and asked that they be rescheduled. The Premier said steps will be taken to redress the situation and prevent cases of fiscal evasion.
Vlad Filat assured the Balti businessmen that the Government will continue the efforts aimed at solving the problem of entrepreneur's patent.
