Economy Ministry to devise new regulatory reform strategy
The Ministry of Economy intends to work out a new regulatory reform strategy (regulations governing the entrepreneurial activity), Lilia Palii, the head of the Ministry’s General Business Environment Development Division, said in a program on Radio Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
At the first stage, there will be assessed the results of the implementation of the current strategy that was approved in 2007. Afterward, as a result of a broad consultative process involving representatives of the business community and civil society, there will be set the priorities of the new strategy that will cover a longer period.
Lilia Palii said that the Ministry of Economy is now working on a bill with amendments to 58 sector laws. The amendments refer to the conditions and procedure for issuing authorizations, licenses, permits and other related documents for performing entrepreneurial activities in different fields and the issuance taxes levied from economic entities.
Following a broad inventorying, the Nomenclature of Authorizing Documents was reduced to 272 documents issued by 40 authorities. The economic entities can be issued only with the documents contained in the nomenclature.
