Economic agents that will found pharmacies in villages will receive subsidies and other concessions from the state. The Cabinet approved the regulations concerning the licensing of pharmaceutical activity in rural areas, IPN reports.
Entrepreneurs that will open pharmacies in villages where there is no pharmaceutical assistance will receive free license and monthly subsidies of 10,000 to 20,000 lei, depending on the earned revenue.
According to the Government, the goal is to provide the population in rural areas with essential medicines by reasonably locating drugstores in regions.
A number of 1,510 pharmacies have been authorized In the Republic of Moldova. Most of them are concentrated in municipalities and district centers. Of the 1,477 villages, only 418 have pharmacies.
