The housing and public utilities in Leova town were digitized through the eBloc platform. The implementation of this platform in other settlements will facilitate the payment of utility bills by apartment owners. For example, the parents live in Chisinau, while the children work in Italy. After the platform is implemented, the children will be able to pay for public utilities used in the apartment in Chisinau from Italy, through the mobile phone, Ovidiu Rusu, director general of “Deskis Solutions” SRL of Romania, said in a news conference at IPN.
According to Ovidiu Rusu, the Smart platform, similar to the eBloc platform in Moldova’s Leova, ensures transparency, optimization of processes, round-the-clock access, seven days a week, and alternative payment, communication and reporting methods.
The implementation of the platform will facilitate communication on housing problems between neighbors and also with public service providers and the mayor’s office. The multitude of reports generated automatically by the Smart platform will help to easily identify problems in communities and solutions to them. The Smart platform will help to raise the management of public utilities to the highest European standards, stated Ovidiu Rusu.
The director general of “Deskis Solutions” SRL noted that the platform will enable the administration firm to know all the problems faced by condominium co-owners associations and the dwellers of these condominiums. The platform will develop continuously so as to improve its performance not only for those that operate on the platform, but primarily for those who use it – apartment owners.
In Romania, the platform was developed in accordance with the legislation on the management of public utilities for condominium inhabitants. This legal framework in Romania matches the European laws and in parts is even more comprehensive, said Ovidiu Rusu.
