A kilogram of chop is sold for 55 lei, while of pork for 70 lei. The beef costs between 60 and 80 lei a kg. The price of fresh carp varies between 35 and 65 lei a kg, depending on size, while smoked fish costs about 65 lei.

Ten eggs are sold for 10-12 lei. A pack of egg paint is sold for 5 lei. The housewives who do not have time to cook can buy Easter bread and cakes from shops. The cake costs between 44 and 67 lei, while the bread 57 lei. The chocolates are sold for 45 to 120 lei a kilogram.

According to sellers, the fruit and vegetables got cheaper over the last week. Tomatoes sell for 25-30 lei per kg, while cucumbers for 21-23 lei. Bananas and oranges cost 20-18 lei a kg, as earlier, while the apples cost 8 to 15 lei per kilogram.

The price of a kilogram of pot cheese varies between 60 and 70 lei. A bunch of green onion is sold for 5 lei, while cabbage costs 17-20 lei a kg.
