Before Easter, the first-fourth graders of the Chisinau Boarding School No. 2 make greetings. A part of the money earned from selling these greetings will go to support the graduates of the school. The rest of the money will be used to buy materials for similar activities, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The more materials we manage to purchase, the more children will be engaged in these activities,” said Victoria Panfilov, artistic coordinator of the project “Together with Small Steps”, which organized the activities. The children involved in the project do not have relatives or close persons that they could visit at least on Saturday or Sunday and during holidays. According to the project coordinator, there are a number of companies interested in the greetings made by the children. Since the start of last week, the small craftsmen managed to collect about 700 lei. The project is implemented by the Chisinau Center for Social Services for the Child and Family, which was founded in 2003 and forms part of the international association “Amici dei Bambini” based in Milan, Italy.
