Each tenth Moldovan will be vaccinated free against pandemic flu
Every tenth Moldovan will be immunized against the A (H1N1) influenza virus. The 400,000 vaccines provided by the World Health Organization will become available in the second half of December, Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu informed the Parliament on November 3, Info-Prim Neo reports.
20,000 shots will be brought into Moldova from Romania until November 26. The vaccines are offered free of charge.
Vladimir Hotineranu said that the U.S. will provide about 50,000 vaccines against seasonal flu to Moldova.
The Minister of Health said Moldova is not confronted by an epidemic. Two men have died from pandemic flu so far. Both of them returned from abroad
