The dwellers of a number of apartment buildings situated in a yard in Centru district of Chisinau complain about neighbors’ deviant behavior and say that neither the police, nor the City Hall do something to solve the problem.
In a news conference at IPN, Valentina Stavinskaya, who said she represents the interests of her neighbors, related that an investor that purchased three apartments in the same yard started to make their life unbearable after they refused to sell their apartments to this. In the three apartments, the investor lodged several families that consist of 30 persons and these have a deviant behavior and make their life intolerable.
The families, which were lodged in the summer of 2016, destroy neighbors’ windows, quarrel noisily, listen to loud music and even follow the neighbors. The given apartments are not connected to the water supply and sewerage system and the persons who live in these do not obey elementary hygiene rules.
The woman said the person who bought the three apartments is a former female functionary of the Chisinau City Hall who aims to purchase all the apartments in the yard. She invents different pretexts to sue the dwellers of the other four apartments who refused to sell their dwellings.
The people said they complained to the police, but nothing was done to help them. They also made approaches to the City Hall last month, but received no answer.
