Dutch grants for supporting private economic sector
The Chamber of Trade and Industry will present the Dutch governmental program “Investments in the Private Sector” in MoldExpo's conference hall on January 27. The objective of the program is to stimulate economic growth in developing counties, including Moldova, by supporting the private economic sector, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The program will provide grants for projects implemented by national companies in concert with Dutch companies. The projects must be innovative and have a significant impact on the local economy.
The Moldovan companies will have to prove that they have cooperation relations with Dutch firms (joint companies, long-term cooperation contracts, etc.) together with which they can submit project proposals.
The Dutch governmental program will also finance a part of the investments made. In most of the cases, the program reimburses 50% of the investments. The project can have a value of at most 1 500 000 euros. Every country can benefit yearly from 2-3 financing contracts with a contribution of 500 000 euros.
