After exercising his right to vote in the local elections on October 20, Dumitru Țîra, the candidate of the European People's Party of Moldova for mayor of the capital, noted that "the polling stations are empty throughout the city" and urged citizens to go to the polls, reports IPN.
"We voted for a more beautiful city, for a city with a vision, where we could smile without holding our breath because of the foul smell, and the city would look better than now," said Dumitru Țîra.
The PPEM candidate mentioned that he also voted for the people from the suburbs, who, according to him, live "below the limit of human dignity".
He also said that politicians have stolen 20 years of the capital’s development.
