The future President, regardless of the party of which this will form part, will have to cooperate with the ruling alliance, president of honor of the Democratic Party (PDM) Dumitru Diacov stated in the talk show “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
“The elected President will be put in the situation to think how and what he/she should do to cooperate with the ruling alliance. The President cannot disband the ruling alliance. This will have to come to terms with it. Marian Lupu would not have problems in this regard. It won’t be in the favor of the President to venture into a war that this will never win,” stated the heavyweight of the PDM.
Dumitru Diacov assured that the Democratic Party will cooperate with the future President, no matter who this is. “The PDM has the capacity to manage the situation so as to cooperate with the future President, no matter what party this represents,” he said.
The president of honor of the PDM also said that the party he founded is rather powerful and will be long yet in power. “They got used to replacing the parties if they do not like something. Not the party should be changed, but the leader, the program, the objectives. The party must be modernized. We act like this. We do not bring new members to the party by force. They come to us themselves,” stated Dumitru Diacov.
