Drivers will experience traffic jams on Day of Wine

The traffic in Chisinau’s downtown will become troublesome once circulation on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard is closed between Serghei Lazo Street and Hancesti Street, scheduled for Friday, October 6, for the preparations for the National Day of Wine. According to the Chisinau Road Police, the public transport of passengers and individual vehicles will be rerouted on neighboring streets. The city center along with the vicinity will be heavily guarded by numerous circulation agents that will prevent traffic or parking in certain areas. During Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Road Police will be stationed on all Stefan cel Mare Boulevard crossings. Puskin and Banulescu-Bodoni crossings with Stefan cel Mare will have 3 traffic officers each, and will also have 4 officers on each side until Columna Street. A policeman will be on duty on the Veronica Micle Street, in order to assure that only buses with dancers and vehicles owned by persons with immunity are parked. On Banulescu-Bodoni Street, in the vicinity of Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, a circulation agent will be on duty near a parked ambulance, a firemen crew and a garbage collector truck. The Day of Wine celebrations will end on October 8, and the circulation on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard will be restarted on October 9 at 1.00.
