The General Transport and Communications Division is preparing the launch of an electronic platform that will provide information about the excavation and repair works carried out on the roadway and the areas inaccessible to traffic, IPN reports.

The Division’s acting head Igor Gamretski said the informational platform will become a support for the drivers given that rehabilitation works will start on a number of streets in central Chisinau in 2014 and sections will be closed for traffic.

From next spring until the summer of 2015, within a project financed by the EBRD and EIB with €22 million and by the municipality with €8 million, there will be rehabilitated the streets Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, Constantin Negruzzi, Vasile Alecsandri, 31 August, Tighina, and Alexandru cel Bun.
