The non-adjustment of the speed to the conditions on the road led to the injuring of two men and damaging of their cars. Paulina Iakimovski, of the Traffic Police Department's PR Service, told Info-Prim Neo that an Audi A-6 driven by a 44-year-old man skidded on the icy road and went into a tree not far from Toceni village of Cantemir district. The man was taken to the Cantemir district hospital with serious injuries. A VAZ driven by a man aged 36 skidded on the ice and overturned. The accident happened near Carpineni village of Hancesti district. The driver sustained a cranial-cerebral trauma, contusion and fractures of the arms. He was admitted to the Hancesti district hospital A 43-year-old man suffered a concussion and different injuries when he was struck by a MAN truck near Calarasi town. He was rushed to the district hospital in a serious condition. Eleven persons were injured in the five road accidents that happened in Moldova on February 15. Two of the accidents occurred in Chisinau.
