A man aged 40 died when the vehicle he drove overturned and caught fire in Soroca town in the morning of March 9, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, firefighters and an extrication team were called to the scene. An investigation is underway.

The National Patrolling Inspectorate informed about another two accidents that resulted in death. On March 8, a woman was killed when the car in which she travelled crashed violently into a roadside fence in Edinet town. The same day, a 51-year-old man died when he was struck by a car while he was crossing the street in Bacioi commune.
