Technical expertise, drafting, construction and restoring works of the Monastery „Nasterii Maicii Domnului” of the village Curchi, with attraction of money donated by citizens and juridical persons, will be exempted of the value added tax (VAT). A decision in this sense was approved on Tuesday, 7 March, by the cabinet. According to the authors of the decision draft, the monastic compound Curchi is a real culture monument, a symbol of cult architecture of a century history and has a great importance for Moldova. Now, it is in a lamentable and needs increased support on behalf of the state. And VAT exemption of the works of any type made at this Monastery, in their opinion, would represent a significant help. During the campaign organised under the supervision of the chairman of the parliament of Moldova, till 20 February, there were collected 2,5 million lei for reconstruction of the monastic compound Curchi.
