The bodies of a 43-year-old man and a woman aged 40 were found in Dobrușa village of Telenești district in the morning of March 13. The police were alerted by a neighbor of the couple.
Press officer of the Telenești Police Inspectorate Irina Burdujan said the bodies had signs of violent death on them. Most probably, the two were beaten. A man aged 38 from the same village is suspected of committing the double murder. He admitted his guilt.
Intentional murder carries a penalty of 15 to 20 years in jail or life.
