The student dorms managed by state education institutions will be outfitted with washing and drying machines, computers with Internet connection, baths and sports halls. The Cabinet approved new regulations designed to ensure better living conditions for students, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the regulations provide that the dorm managers will have to ensure access and living conditions for persons with disabilities.
The document envisions the modification of the regime of entering dorms so that the students have access to these on a permanent basis. It is excluded the obligation to turn off the lights after 12 midnight.
Also, the students will be allowed to connect additional lighting and heating devices. At least three weeks before the accommodation of students in dorms, the lodging commissions will be obliged to publish information about the number of places available at each dorm and the distribution criteria on the websites of education institutions.
