The official went to the market in Dubăsarii Vechi village of the same district and discussed with locals the Government's projects, investments in roads, water supply systems, educational institutions, medical centers and recreation areas, according to a press release issued by the executive.

Also in Dubăsarii Vechi, Premier Recean visited the "Romanița" kindergarten, which is attended by 240 children and where 45 employees work. The Government provided, through the European Village program, over 10 million lei for the extensive repair of the institution's block "A".

"The Government constantly invests in the development of educational infrastructure in order to provide children with a safe and modern development environment," said Dorin Recean.

The head of the Government also visited the Church of Saint Archangel Michael, which has the status of a historical monument and is the only one in the security zone that worked uninterruptedly for 163 years. It houses the tomb of the Macri-Donici family, which was designed by architect Alexandru Bernardazzi in 1882-1883 and was recently restored with the support of the European Union.
